Hand Woven Wall Hangings Workshop
August 9th 2025
10 AM-6 PM
Neavda City, CA
Come spend a day on our homestead and with community and weave your own one of a kind wall hanging or altar cloth. All materials will be provided including frame looms and weaving tools, and a beautiful variety of earthen, botanically dyed yarns and fibers. I’ll walk you through the basics of weaving from warping your loom to plain weave, some simple patterns and fun techniques, to finishing. We will share a lunch break and enjoy a catered organic meal together, as well as take a stretch and go visit our barnyard to meet some of the very animals who’s fiber you will be weaving with. You will bring your looms as well as your finished pieces home with you! Along with all of the information that you need to continue weaving. In arms infants or older children who can and want to participate are welcome as well.
If you already have a frame loom at home that you would like to bring, please let me know as I can offer an additional discount.
