Botanically Printed Prayer Flags Workshop
July 12th 2025
10 AM-2 PM
Nevada City, CA
Come spend a day on our homestead and create a one of a kind botanically printed tapestry and/or string of prayer flags. We will walk through our garden, become familiarized with leafs and flowers that work well for this method of eco printing, and enjoy a bountiful harvest. Then we’ll cut the fabric to desired sizes, cover the process of mordanting, and have so much fun using the hammer/pounding technique to print these plants onto our blank canvases. Each piece created will be one of a kind, unique to it’s maker. Some light refreshments will be provided. This is probably not an ideal workshop for infants due to noise levels of the hammering. Older children who want to participate are welcome.
Further details will be sent via email upon signing up!
Early bird sale live until 6/10
Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the day of class.
